OUR MISSION
Women and children in rural and tribal areas of Asia often face significant challenges such as poverty, limited access to education, and inadequate healthcare. Those with physical or mental disabilities are especially vulnerable. Stabit aims to empower these individuals by providing a supportive community, resources, and opportunities for growth to help them build better futures. We are dedicated to creating positive change by raising awareness among community leaders to foster respect and promote inclusivity for people with disabilities.
SUPPLYING VOCATIONAL TRAINING
Our vocational classes open the door of opportunity for women and girls by enabling them to have a firm foundation to become bold and confident as they find their true calling. Learning new skills helps to secure stable employment and provide for themselves and their families. An additional benefit is that life-long friendships are often made.
PROVIDING ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE
Stabit offers tutoring after school by qualified teachers. This can significantly impact children’s future by providing them with valuable support and opportunities for growth.
Our literacy initiative program helps improve academic performance, builds confidence, promotes equal opportunities, and encourages lifelong learning.
OFFERING HELP AND HOPE
Stabit provides basic nutrition, medical assistance, and counseling for struggling families affected by physical or mental disabilities. Supporting parents dealing with these challenges often serves as a lifeline of hope, empowering families, and fostering a more compassionate society.
We are delighted to offer retreats for children, which provide not only a time for fun activities, games, and crafts, but also an opportunity for them to learn valuable life lessons, such as responsibility and how to become contributing members of society.
INSPIRING OTHERS THROUGH VISION TRIPS
Affiliates join us on vision trips to gain a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges on the ground, often gaining a clearer perspective on how they might support future efforts. Participants also enjoy exploring a foreign culture and engaging in ways that go beyond typical sightseeing tours.
